The Directors Cut
A finished version of the movie.  Watch to give an overview before beginning or to compare with pupil's versions. Just shows what can be done in an "ordinary" school by "ordinary" pupils.  All locations were in the school building or grounds.
Gamekids Music mp3
Composed by Kate Brook.
Originally a midi file so has the slightly "tinny" sound quality of handheld games.  Perfect for title, credits and incidental music.  The middle section is ideal for the silent dream sequence.
Photo Storyboards  Scene 1  and  Scene 4
Children often find it difficult to visualise different shots when they draw storyboards. Try giving them a still camera and tell them to compose a picture for each line of script. Photo Story 3 can be used to assemble such storyboards and record the script.

Gamekids Script
Written by the Year 5 and 6 children at St. Peter's...
Use the script to help make sense of the unedited video. It's a Word file so it can be reformatted, reorganised etc. Can you spot the mistake in the video in Scene 3
?
Movie Maker Tutorials
I haven't created my own yet as there are several decent sets of video tutorials on the net already (all American). If my other tutorials prove popular I'll do some that are a bit more "child-friendly" than these...

This set of video tutorials is short and to the point. It does have all the content set out as a picture and text tutorial too, so if you miss or forget something from the video use this as an aide memoire. Part of the excellent 'Make Internet TV' site.

Extensive and detailed tutorials on all aspects of editing with Movie Maker. If you work through this lot you'll know the program extremely well - a bit dull though!
